Our Only Mission

We started Our Only Planet when we realised the need for planet-conscious products that are actually affordable and accessible to all. In the last few years we have been implementing lots of big and small changes to reduce our impact on environmental change. One of the main things that has been blatantly apparent is the higher cost of products that are labelled as “Eco-Friendly” or “Sustainable” – which means it just isn’t possible for all of us to afford these swaps.

Here at Our Only Planet we are always striving to take care of our world, as it needs us now more than ever. If we could all lower the number of disposable products we use by even one product per day, think of the difference that would make after just a month! Things we vow to do in pursuit of protecting our planet:

  • We promise not to greenwash our customers. We understand that we won’t always be able to make our products or process as sustainable as we’d like but we vow to be honest with you about this so you can make your purchasing decisions based on facts.
  • We promise to create gorgeous reusable alternatives to disposable products in order to keep as much out of landfill and our seas as we possibly can. All whilst keeping the costs affordable and the production processes in the best interests of the environment.
  • We promise to make sure that all of our products are packed and shipped totally plastic-free. Our packaging is all made from untreated recycled card which can be recycled kerbside or can be ripped up and popped in your compost bin.
  • We promise to keep you updated with handy hints and tips to help live a more sustainable (and  affordable) lifestyle.
  • We promise to gratefully accept feedback from our customers, finding out what people really need and how we can help them to achieve their environmental goals.
